It is reported that the Border Patrol agents under the Homeland Security Department working about 100 miles north of the Mexican border say they have been given arrest quotas and they would be punished if the quota is not met in the arrest of illegal immigrants.
On Feb. 4, 2009, President Barack Obama signed a bill that went directly from the House passage to his office to extend health insurance to 4 million children. Specifically, all preferences are now current for all countries, except the 3rd preference still has 5 to 6 years backlog for all countries worldwide including skilled workers and other workers, and China and India still have a little backlog in the 2nd preference as well but much better picture than before.
